A reminder to parents who drop of and/or pick-up students before and after school: To help the traffic flow, we ask that you drop of your student in a timely manner as so other can do the same. We understand that a lot of parents have questions and concerns about the pickup circle. The main rule is NO entering the pickup circle for pickups until 30 minutes prior to dismissal. Please do not park in the bus zone area nor parking across the street from the bus zone area which is a no parking zone. This is a safety concern because it’s not a cross walk, and student are crossing the street.

On a regular school day, dismissal is at 2:15 p.m. – you can pull-up in the circle at 2 p.m. On half days, school dismissal is at 11:15 a.m. – you can pull-up in the circle at 11 a.m. Also, on Late Start WEDNESDAY’S, school will start at 8:45 a.m. and dismissal is at 2:15 p.m.

Preschool and kindergarten are released first and then grades 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. If we stay in this order the traffic should flow a lot smoother.

We need to be extra cautious when dropping of students around the school area, as we have had reports that students were almost hit by a car on several occasions. It is particularly difficult to see well when it’s dark and raining in the mornings as well as the afternoons. Please help us watch out for our kids. We want everyone to be safe.

Also, as a safety reminder, there is no supervision before 7:15 a.m. until school starts. We ask that no students arrive before 7:10 a.m. as doors do not open until 7:15 a.m.
